Come Closer - Intensive with Maria and Daniil

Come Closer is an intensive Lindy Hop weekend with Daniil & Maria, with a focus on one theme at a time.

Theme of this weekend — closed position and everything related to it: entering and leaving the embrace, creating different shapes, connecting, playing with footwork patterns and rhythms.

Five-hour format gives enough time to understand ideas and make them yours, without sacrificing practice time and in-depth discussion within the group.

2 Days of Classes; 2 Levels: Int & Adv; 5 hours of class for each level

Level description

Intermediate - you’ve been dancing for more than a year, and go to social dances regularly. You are comfortable with 6 and 8 count rhythms and know some footwork variations.

Advanced - you’ve been dancing for about 3 years or more, have attended a few festivals. You can dance the basic patterns with confidence but also can break out of basic moves to improvise. You are able to play with rhythm of your footwork spontaneously.
